Too slow on our connection to be usable

It became a graveyard of half finished boards nobody trusted. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.

What works

The free tier is generous.

What does not

We paid for a tier we could not make use of. Half the team never adopted it. It was too slow on our connection.

Simple enough that people actually use it

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. A free tier small teams genuinely stay on for years. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. Client facing views mean fewer status emails. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Used for 6 to 12 months

The whole team adopted it in a fortnight

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Learnable in two minutes by anyone. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. Client facing views mean fewer status emails.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Fine for tasks, weak for resourcing

It works, we just had to redo our structure after four months of getting it wrong. Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. The views are flexible.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. The learning curve for the advanced features is real.

It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. Setup was quick.

What does not

Performance degrades on a large workspace. Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable.

Visibility across twelve projects, finally

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

A free tier small teams genuinely stay on for years. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

Adoption was harder than expected

Good tool. The pricing bands do not suit a team of our size. A free tier small teams genuinely stay on for years. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

The lowest paid tier price in the category. Setup was quick.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. Performance degrades on a large workspace.

Simple enough that people actually use it

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Learnable in two minutes by anyone. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

Too slow on our connection to be usable

Performance on our office connection made it a chore. Where it earns its keep is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

It looks good.

What does not

We paid for a tier we could not make use of. Half the team never adopted it. It was too slow on our connection.

Thank you for this. We recognise the pricing concern and would like to review your plan with you, as there may be a better fit for your usage. Our team will be in touch.
