Client reporting takes minutes now

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Learnable in two minutes by anyone. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

A free tier small teams genuinely stay on for years. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Learnable in two minutes by anyone. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Good value, occasional performance problems

It works, we just had to redo our structure after four months of getting it wrong. Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

It became a graveyard of half finished boards nobody trusted. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.
