The bank feed problems never got fixed

We committed to this on a recommendation and I regret not testing it properly first. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

The invoicing side works.

What does not

Support responses were slow and generic. Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit. The VAT handling required constant manual correction.

Bank feeds alone justify the subscription

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. Unlimited invoices on the free plan. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

No user limit, ever. Multi currency handling is genuinely correct on unrealised gains. Month end close has dropped from six days to two.

What does not

The interface has not aged well.

Our practice put four clients on this before we moved our own business across. Clean, uncluttered interface. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Clean, uncluttered interface. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost. The audit trail has answered every query our auditors raised.

What does not

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.

Fine for us, would not recommend for stock heavy businesses

Good enough that changing again is not worth the disruption. Clean, uncluttered interface. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Clean, uncluttered interface. The core ledger is reliable.

What does not

Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should. Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses.
