Migration was painful, the result was worth it

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. No user limit, ever. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

A genuine double entry ledger at no cost. The audit trail has answered every query our auditors raised. Multi currency handling is genuinely correct on unrealised gains.

What does not

Reporting beyond the standard pack still ends up in a spreadsheet.

We chose this on price and mostly that decision has held up. No user limit, ever. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

A genuine double entry ledger at no cost. The core ledger is reliable.

What does not

Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses. Getting a person on the phone is difficult.

The trial went well. Live use with real volume did not. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.
