Competent but the support tests your patience

Good enough that changing again is not worth the disruption. Built in client portal at no extra cost. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Built in client portal at no extra cost. The core ledger is reliable.

What does not

There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand. Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses.

VAT season stopped being a crisis

Our practice put four clients on this before we moved our own business across. A workflow engine competitors do not offer at any tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

Cheaper than the alternatives, and you find out why

We committed to this on a recommendation and I regret not testing it properly first. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

The invoicing side works.

What does not

Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit. Support responses were slow and generic. The VAT handling required constant manual correction.
