Simple enough that people actually use it

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Native time tracking included from the free tier. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Simple enough that people actually use it

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Native time tracking included from the free tier. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate. Client facing views mean fewer status emails.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Time tracking in the same tool changed our billing

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. The most capable free tier in the category. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

The most capable free tier in the category. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

Visibility across twelve projects, finally

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Documents, whiteboards and tasks in one product. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Native time tracking included from the free tier. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

Works, but the seat bands hurt at our size

Half the team lives in it and half still work from email. Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

The most capable free tier in the category. The views are flexible.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. The learning curve for the advanced features is real.

We appreciate you taking the time to write this up. The support delay you experienced is not the standard we hold ourselves to, and we have followed up internally. Please reach out directly and we will assist.

Too slow on our connection to be usable

It became a graveyard of half finished boards nobody trusted. What surprised me was that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

It looks good.

What does not

Half the team never adopted it. It was too slow on our connection. We paid for a tier we could not make use of.

Fine for tasks, weak for resourcing

It works, we just had to redo our structure after four months of getting it wrong. Documents, whiteboards and tasks in one product. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Documents, whiteboards and tasks in one product. The views are flexible.

What does not

Performance degrades on a large workspace. Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable.
