Fine for tasks, weak for resourcing

Good tool. The pricing bands do not suit a team of our size. Documents, whiteboards and tasks in one product. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. The views are flexible.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. There is no native time tracking.

The whole team adopted it in a fortnight

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Native time tracking included from the free tier. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Good value, occasional performance problems

Half the team lives in it and half still work from email. Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Documents, whiteboards and tasks in one product. The views are flexible.

What does not

The learning curve for the advanced features is real. Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable.

We appreciate you taking the time to write this up. The support delay you experienced is not the standard we hold ourselves to, and we have followed up internally. Please reach out directly and we will assist.

Time tracking in the same tool changed our billing

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. The most capable free tier in the category. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Native time tracking included from the free tier. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Client facing views mean fewer status emails.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

What works

Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

Great tool, we built it badly at first

Half the team lives in it and half still work from email. Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Replaces three or four separate dollar subscriptions. Task management is reliable.

What does not

Performance degrades on a large workspace. The learning curve for the advanced features is real.

Boards multiplied until nobody trusted them

It became a graveyard of half finished boards nobody trusted. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

The free tier is generous.

What does not

Half the team never adopted it. It was too slow on our connection. We paid for a tier we could not make use of.

Adoption was harder than expected

What works

The most capable free tier in the category. Setup was quick.

The learning curve for the advanced features is real. Performance degrades on a large workspace.
