Finally a ledger our accountant does not complain about

Our practice put four clients on this before we moved our own business across. The smoothest time tracking to invoice workflow available. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Very low learning curve. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost. Month end close has dropped from six days to two.

What does not

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.

Does the job, will not delight you

We chose this on price and mostly that decision has held up. Automatic, well judged payment reminders. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Invoices that genuinely look professional without design work. The mobile app is useful for approving payments.

What does not

The report customisation is limited. Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses.

The bank feed problems never got fixed

We committed to this on a recommendation and I regret not testing it properly first. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.

What works

The invoicing side works.

What does not

The VAT handling required constant manual correction. Support responses were slow and generic. Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit.
