Right features, wrong price for our size

Good enough that changing again is not worth the disruption. The smoothest time tracking to invoice workflow available. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Invoices that genuinely look professional without design work. Pricing is predictable with no surprise increases.

What does not

Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses. There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand.

Does the compliance work without being asked

I run the books for three related companies and this is the first system that has kept up. Automatic, well judged payment reminders. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Automatic, well judged payment reminders. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost. Month end close has dropped from six days to two.

What does not

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.

Not built for a South African VAT vendor

I have spent more time working around this than working in it. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What does not

Support responses were slow and generic. Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks. The VAT handling required constant manual correction.
