After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

The best mobile receipt capture in the category. Month end close has dropped from six days to two. VAT201 figures come out right without a manual working paper.

What does not

Reporting beyond the standard pack still ends up in a spreadsheet.

Our practice put four clients on this before we moved our own business across. Large global template and app ecosystem. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. Bank feeds match transactions accurately and the rules learn quickly. Invoices go out looking professional with no design work.

What does not

The interface has not aged well.

Migrated away after fourteen months

I have spent more time working around this than working in it. For context, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.

What works

It is inexpensive.

What does not

Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks. Support responses were slow and generic. Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit.

Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Multi currency from the middle tier. Month end close has dropped from six days to two. The audit trail has answered every query our auditors raised.

What does not

Works well once you accept its limits

It does what we need and I have no strong feelings about it either way. Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What works

Large global template and app ecosystem. Invoicing is quick once the templates are set.

What does not

The report customisation is limited. Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should.
