Reconciliation went from a week to an afternoon

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

The best mobile receipt capture in the category. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost. VAT201 figures come out right without a manual working paper.

What does not

Reporting beyond the standard pack still ends up in a spreadsheet.

Good ledger, disappointing reporting

It does what we need and I have no strong feelings about it either way. Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

Large global template and app ecosystem. Invoicing is quick once the templates are set.

What does not

There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand. Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should.

Bank feeds alone justify the subscription

I run the books for three related companies and this is the first system that has kept up. Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

Multi currency from the middle tier. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost. Month end close has dropped from six days to two.

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.
