Finally a ledger our accountant does not complain about

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Large global template and app ecosystem. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost. Month end close has dropped from six days to two.

What does not

Inventory is too basic for a stock heavy business.

Our practice put four clients on this before we moved our own business across. Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

Does the compliance work without being asked

I run the books for three related companies and this is the first system that has kept up. The best mobile receipt capture in the category. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

Support took eleven days to answer a VAT query

We committed to this on a recommendation and I regret not testing it properly first. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

The invoicing side works.

What does not

Support responses were slow and generic. Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks. Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit.

Works well once you accept its limits

It has been fine, with a couple of persistent irritations. Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

The report customisation is limited. Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses.

Fine for us, would not recommend for stock heavy businesses

We chose this on price and mostly that decision has held up. Large global template and app ecosystem. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

The best mobile receipt capture in the category. Pricing is predictable with no surprise increases.

What does not

There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand. The report customisation is limited.
