Does the job, will not delight you

Good enough that changing again is not worth the disruption. The best mobile receipt capture in the category. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Multi currency from the middle tier. The core ledger is reliable.

What does not

The report customisation is limited. There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand.

It has been fine, with a couple of persistent irritations. The best mobile receipt capture in the category. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What does not

Getting a person on the phone is difficult. Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses.

Reconciliation went from a week to an afternoon

Our practice put four clients on this before we moved our own business across. Large global template and app ecosystem. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Large global template and app ecosystem. VAT201 figures come out right without a manual working paper. Multi currency handling is genuinely correct on unrealised gains.

What does not

The interface has not aged well.

Our bookkeeper got two days a month back

We moved across from a desktop package eighteen months ago and I would not go back. Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Migrated away after fourteen months

We committed to this on a recommendation and I regret not testing it properly first. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.
