Does the job, will not delight you

It does what we need and I have no strong feelings about it either way. Large global template and app ecosystem. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Large global template and app ecosystem. The core ledger is reliable.

What does not

Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should. The report customisation is limited.

Reconciliation went from a week to an afternoon

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. The best mobile receipt capture in the category. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

The best mobile receipt capture in the category. Month end close has dropped from six days to two. Invoices go out looking professional with no design work.

What does not

Reporting beyond the standard pack still ends up in a spreadsheet.

Works well once you accept its limits

We chose this on price and mostly that decision has held up. Large global template and app ecosystem. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Reporting and budgeting well ahead of its price point. Invoicing is quick once the templates are set.

What does not

The report customisation is limited. Inventory cannot handle multiple warehouses.

Migrated away after fourteen months

I have spent more time working around this than working in it. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

The invoicing side works.

What does not

Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit. The VAT handling required constant manual correction. Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks.

There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

The best mobile receipt capture in the category. The audit trail has answered every query our auditors raised. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost.

What does not
