Time tracking in the same tool changed our billing

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Resource allocation across many concurrent projects. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Resource allocation across many concurrent projects. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

Client reporting takes minutes now

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road. Client facing views mean fewer status emails.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Reporting could not answer basic questions

It became a graveyard of half finished boards nobody trusted. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

It looks good.

What does not

We paid for a tier we could not make use of. It was too slow on our connection. Half the team never adopted it.

We paid for fifteen seats and used nine

It became a graveyard of half finished boards nobody trusted. Where it earns its keep is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

It looks good.

It was too slow on our connection. We paid for a tier we could not make use of. Half the team never adopted it.

Great tool, we built it badly at first

Good tool. The pricing bands do not suit a team of our size. An Excel like formula language spreadsheet users already know. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

An Excel like formula language spreadsheet users already know. Task management is reliable.

What does not

The learning curve for the advanced features is real. Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable.

Simple enough that people actually use it

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Resource allocation across many concurrent projects. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

Good value, occasional performance problems

It works, we just had to redo our structure after four months of getting it wrong.

Setup was quick.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. The learning curve for the advanced features is real.

Visibility across twelve projects, finally

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Resource allocation across many concurrent projects. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.
