Simple enough that people actually use it

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Simple enough that people actually use it

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Portfolio roll ups that give a programme director one honest view. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

The whole team adopted it in a fortnight

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. An Excel like formula language spreadsheet users already know. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

Fine for tasks, weak for resourcing

Good tool. The pricing bands do not suit a team of our size. Portfolio roll ups that give a programme director one honest view. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Critical path scheduling with dependencies and baselines. Setup was quick.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. Performance degrades on a large workspace.

Time tracking in the same tool changed our billing

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Resource allocation across many concurrent projects. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.
