Stock and the ledger finally agree

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Mature material requirements planning. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Landed cost handling that covers the full import chain. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Lot traceability from raw material to finished goods. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

Mature material requirements planning. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Works well, costs more than we planned

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Mature material requirements planning. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

Landed cost handling that covers the full import chain. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner. Remote access needs a hosted desktop.

We are still reconciling stock by hand

The local statutory reporting was never delivered as promised. What surprised me was that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

The core accounting works.

What does not

Localisation was incomplete at go live. The implementation ran badly over time and budget. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation.
