Works well, costs more than we planned

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Mature material requirements planning. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Mature material requirements planning. The partner network means help is available.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. Reporting requires a specialist to build.

Landed cost is finally accurate

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. South African founded, with local consultants and support. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

Landed cost handling that covers the full import chain. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

Renewal came in forty percent higher

Under scoped implementation, and we discovered it after go live. Where it earns its keep is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. I would look elsewhere unless price is the only consideration.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation. The implementation ran badly over time and budget. We are still running parallel spreadsheets.
