One system across four branches

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. South African founded, with local consultants and support. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Implementation ran eleven months over

Under scoped implementation, and we discovered it after go live. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.

What works

The core accounting works.

What does not

The implementation ran badly over time and budget. Localisation was incomplete at go live. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation.

Works well, costs more than we planned

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Lot traceability from raw material to finished goods. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.

What does not

Reporting requires a specialist to build. Remote access needs a hosted desktop.

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Mature material requirements planning. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.
