Simple enough that people actually use it

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Learnable in two minutes by anyone. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Learnable in two minutes by anyone. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes. Everyone can see what is due this week without asking.

What does not

Seat bands mean paying for people who do not exist.

Used for less than 6 months

Great tool, we built it badly at first

Half the team lives in it and half still work from email. Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

A free tier small teams genuinely stay on for years. The views are flexible.

What does not

Dollar pricing makes the budget unpredictable. The learning curve for the advanced features is real.

Visibility across twelve projects, finally

We rolled it out to twenty two people and adoption was close to complete within a month. Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

The lowest paid tier price in the category. Client facing views mean fewer status emails. Templates mean a new project is set up in minutes.

What does not

Reporting is weaker than the task management.

The whole team adopted it in a fortnight

Client status reporting used to take a morning a week. Now it takes ten minutes. A free tier small teams genuinely stay on for years. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

The lowest paid tier price in the category. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road. Automation handles the routine handoffs between teams.

Simple enough that people actually use it

The team asked to keep it after the trial, which has never happened before. Learnable in two minutes by anyone. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What does not

Without governance the number of boards grows out of control.

Time tracking in the same tool changed our billing

There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

The lowest paid tier price in the category. The mobile app is good enough for approvals on the road. Time tracking sits with the tasks, so billing is accurate.

We paid for fifteen seats and used nine

It became a graveyard of half finished boards nobody trusted. The thing worth knowing is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.

What works

The free tier is generous.

What does not

We paid for a tier we could not make use of. Half the team never adopted it. It was too slow on our connection.

Good value, occasional performance problems

Half the team lives in it and half still work from email. Large Power-Up ecosystem for targeted additions. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

Learnable in two minutes by anyone. Setup was quick.

What does not

The learning curve for the advanced features is real. Performance degrades on a large workspace.
