Solid, boring, and that is exactly what I wanted

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. Unlimited users on every plan, which no local competitor matches. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What does not

Support response times slow noticeably at month end.

Finally a ledger our accountant does not complain about

We moved across from a desktop package eighteen months ago and I would not go back. Unlimited users on every plan, which no local competitor matches. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

The best bank reconciliation experience in the category. Bank feeds match transactions accurately and the rules learn quickly. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost.

The bank feed problems never got fixed

We committed to this on a recommendation and I regret not testing it properly first. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

The invoicing side works.

What does not

The VAT handling required constant manual correction. Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit. Support responses were slow and generic.

Works well once you accept its limits

It does what we need and I have no strong feelings about it either way. Genuinely strong multi currency handling. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand. Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should.
