Our practice put four clients on this before we moved our own business across. Built in client portal at no extra cost. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

The most functionality per rand in the category by a wide margin. The audit trail has answered every query our auditors raised. Month end close has dropped from six days to two.

What does not

Reporting beyond the standard pack still ends up in a spreadsheet.

Solid, boring, and that is exactly what I wanted

We moved across from a desktop package eighteen months ago and I would not go back. A free plan that is genuinely usable, not a demo. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

A free plan that is genuinely usable, not a demo. Multi currency handling is genuinely correct on unrealised gains. Bank feeds match transactions accurately and the rules learn quickly.

What does not

Reporting beyond the standard pack still ends up in a spreadsheet.

A workflow engine competitors do not offer at any tier. Invoices go out looking professional with no design work. Bank feeds match transactions accurately and the rules learn quickly.

What does not

Competent but the support tests your patience

We chose this on price and mostly that decision has held up. A free plan that is genuinely usable, not a demo. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Fine for our needs. Test it properly against your own requirements.
