Reconciliation went from a week to an afternoon

I run the books for three related companies and this is the first system that has kept up. Built in client portal at no extra cost. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

The most functionality per rand in the category by a wide margin. VAT201 figures come out right without a manual working paper. Month end close has dropped from six days to two.

Solid, boring, and that is exactly what I wanted

Fine for us, would not recommend for stock heavy businesses

Good enough that changing again is not worth the disruption. A workflow engine competitors do not offer at any tier. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What does not

The report customisation is limited. Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should.
