Does the compliance work without being asked

I run the books for three related companies and this is the first system that has kept up. Over a thousand connected applications. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Genuinely strong multi currency handling. Bank feeds match transactions accurately and the rules learn quickly. Multi currency handling is genuinely correct on unrealised gains.

What does not

Support response times slow noticeably at month end.

After two years I can say the reconciliation time saving is real and it is significant. The best bank reconciliation experience in the category. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Over a thousand connected applications. Our accountant has their own login at no extra cost. Invoices go out looking professional with no design work.

What does not

Reporting beyond the standard pack still ends up in a spreadsheet.

Cheaper than the alternatives, and you find out why

I have spent more time working around this than working in it. What surprised me was that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. Test it hard during the trial with real volume before committing.

What works

Setup was quick.

What does not

Migration lost historical detail we needed for the audit. Bank feed failures went unresolved for weeks. The VAT handling required constant manual correction.

Fine for us, would not recommend for stock heavy businesses

It does what we need and I have no strong feelings about it either way. Over a thousand connected applications. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Genuinely strong multi currency handling. The mobile app is useful for approving payments.

What does not

Bank feeds drop and need reauthorising more often than they should. There is no direct submission to eFiling, so the return is captured by hand.
